Being inspired by my Foo Gaurdian statue from the previous project, I wanted to apply it to my next project, which was an environmental study—applying the knowledge from the previous project I wanted to challenge myself when creating this environment. In this project, we were tasked with using most of the tools provided by the software, Gravity Sketch.
Sketches and Process
In designing this VR environment, I envisioned a river separating a temple from its gateway, adorned with Foo guardians in a lush forest. Employing a modular approach, I created models in separate files, seamlessly integrating them into the main project to refine and harmonize the details. Many decisions had to be worked out from color pallet to the layout of the scene. Each step was brought to another classmate to work out any small details.
